Maddy's counts are up enough to continue on with her next treatment. We are headed to the hospital today. She has to be admitted overnight. Maddy is trying to figure out how to sneak Lizzy into the hospital. She is checking to see if she will fit into my purse right now... : )
Hi Lamberts, This is Ariel Mullarkey (Brent Gnagey's daughter) I currently work in a pediatric hospital. I was reading about Maddy wanting to bring Lizzy into the hospital and just wanted you to know that we will sometimes allow kids to bring their pets in to visit. Just a suggestion but you should have Maddy ask her nurse. :) I don't know what her floor is like but they may let her come for at least a bit. Just an idea.

ReplyDeleteI am so happy that I talked with you last night! I'm glad your time at St. V's went well. Just think it won't be that long and the hardest treatments will be over! You are such a brave girl! I'm sure Lizzy was very excited to see you when you got home. Hopefully next week we will start working on those 1st grade tests. Hi Maddy! I just read about you getting a puppy a few days ago- what fun! If your mom's purse isn't big enough for Lizzy I have a few you could borrow that would probably fit Lizzy! Have you tried to teach Lizzy any tricks yet? I've been thinking a lot about you over the last couple of days- I hope Thursday night at the hospital went quickly for you. You are in my prayers dear one.
ReplyDeleteI bet that puppy was thrilled when you got home, Maddy! Know that the Reichert family continues to pray for you!!!! Erin's grandmother has cancer, too. We got her a shirt that says Fight Like a Girl! I thought you would like that idea!!!!
