She's Home

Maddy was able to come home this evening.  Her temperature stayed around 99 without Tylenol this afternoon.  Maddy's persuasion along with the promise that we would return to the hospital immediately if her temperature went up again was enough to convince the doctor to let her come home.  Hopefully she will be able to get some much needed rest to get ready for her next treatment on Thursday!

Thanks for all the prayers!

  1. Welcome home Maddy! Let your mom know if you have the taste for ANYTHING and I will make it for you! I know you haven't had too much to eat lately and all that medicine is upsetting your belly, but when you are ready to eat and want something special, I will gladly make it for you!

  4. Hi Guys, I have just read over your last posts since Maddy relapsed. I was so sorry to read that her big sister is not a match. We are just going through the same thing with Peter's big brother. He did the blood test yesterday and we will find out in 2 weeks if he is a match.
    It's such stressful times.
Like you guys, we are taking one day at a time. Pete relapsed in the Bone marrow on february 8, so a similar time frame to you guys.
Hugs to you all and especially to Maddy.
