Maddy entered the gates of Heaven this morning around 5:30 AM and is dancing with the angels free of all pain and suffering. We can just imagine her smiling and laughing with a head full of long curly hair just like she wanted.
"Now there is no suffering, now there is no pain, God gives his children wings and lets them live again."
Celebrating Maddy's life and the great difference she made to this community and praying for you as you continue your own journey here on earth. The erbskorns
We are mourning with you and celebrating with her being in the arms of Jesus at last. Maddy has made such a difference while she was here - more than most of us make in our lifetimes. I hope you can find some comfort in that. We will continue to pray for you, for your peace and comfort. Love, The Bilen Family
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you journey through this. No words can take away the sorrow you are feeling but we pray you find comfort knowing Maddy is rejoicing with Him.
Love and prayers, Aaron & Carrie Baynes and family
May Jesus engulf you in His arms of love. We are so sorry for your loss and continue to pray for all of you. We too rejoice with Maddy that she is seeing Him face to face and jumping into his lap for a big hug. Love and prayers, The Oyer family
Our hearts ache for you and your family. Maddiy is a very lucky little girl to be in the arms of God. She has forever changed our lives. Our time on earth is very precious. Thank you for sharing Maddy with us.
Praying that you feel God's Presence and Peace like never before in your lives as you hold onto Him in your sadness. Maddy is with Jesus---what a comfort to have that promise and to know we will someday all be together again with our Lord in Heaven. I look forward to meeting your amazing daughter---she has blessed so many people's lives. I know that I have been touched and inspired by Maddy and your family as you were on this journey - the photos, the blog, etc. I feel like I know you even though we have not met. But, my sister, Deb, has shared with me through all of this, and I felt and saw the amazing love in your family. Hope I get to meet all of you sometime here on earth. May you feel God's arms of love holding you now---praying for comfort, strength and peace in your hearts. Pam (Deb B's sister)
God only takes the best & Maddy was on top of the list. May you find peace in knowing she is pain free and looking over your family. Our Deepest Sympathy. Dean Jr & Pat Rose
Dorothy and Russ....my prayers are with you at this time....just know that she will be ok now and I am sure Tianna was right there to greet Maddy as well....both girls have made a big difference in the communities and they will continue to hold special places in our hearts....he had a purpose for both and I believe they had filled those purposes....Tiana was to use her big heart to help other children with cancer and I believe Maddy's purpose was to show the community how important it is to become a bone marrow donor and look at that outcome....be proud of her and we send out love to you.
My heart aches for you and yet knowing that Maddy is singing and dancing with the Angels in Heaven with no more pain and suffering is a small comfort at this time. You have been in our thoughts and prayers and will continue to pray for your family.
We send many prayers and hugs your way. Remembering Maddy's "BIG" smile and everything she has done to remind us to live each day to the fullest and for God. We pray for all of you. God has blessed this community with not only a wonderful person like Maddy but also and amazing family.
Having been praying for Maddy, now my prayers are for the family to feel God's comforter surrounding them at this time. Hoping the tears ease your pain. Hugs & Love to you...
Prayers for you all. There are no words to describe what we are feeling for you this morning. I wish I knew the right thing to say right now, but I don't. May God wrap his arms around all of you and give you the strength you need to get through the days ahead. Love to you all. Adam, Amanda & Adalyn
We are all praying for your family. Your family has been such a blessing to this community, all the words we can say cannot do much except to let you know we are here for you, I just wish there was more we could do for you.
I pray that God comforts you in this time of need. God will help you get through this even though it will not be easy.
I really don't know what else to say, there are no words that can express what we all want to say.
We love you all and are here if there is ever anything we can do.
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day. To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that place at the start of today. ... If my parting has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Ah yes, these things I, too, will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much. Good friends, good times, my parents touch. Perhaps my time seems all too brief. Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me. God wanted me now. He set me free......
I am so so sorry for your loss. Your family is in our prayers. I found this poem and thought it appropriate to share:
Mother's Song
I've lost my baby daughter, Though not misplaced. I feel she's somewhere Bound by neither time nor space. Perhaps she sits before the Throne With radiant face. She could be dancing happily Like little girls do With golden taps beneath Each precious little shoe. I know you love music, So I'm sure it's true. I'm grateful that in Heaven She is healthy and strong And that she's lulled to sleep each night By Heaven's song, But I wish I could hold her; Is that terribly wrong? I sang so often to her While she was with me And I will go on listening For her harmony. How sweet to know I'll hear it In eternity.
So many prayers being sent to the Lambert family from the Students, Faculty, and Staff of Defiance College! It was a blessing to meet such a wonderful little girl at our Dance Marathon!
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Maddy will be your Angel forever looking over all of you! May God's peace be with you all. Larry, Teresa(Olinger), Colton, & Lars Soles.
So thankful for our loving God who is all-knowing and all-powerful...but who also knows about every tear we shed. Praying for His comfort and rest for you.
I can't imagine what you are feeling right now. I pray God will hold you close to Him in the days ahead as you adjust to life without Maddy there with you. May you feel His love, strength, peace and comfort. Bless you.
Mr. & Mrs. Lambert, and Julia: I cannot even begin to imagine what you are going through but please try and take comfort in knowing that Maddie is no longer suffering and in pain...but is instead in the arms of her Heavenly Father where she will watch over all of you very single minute of every day! When you said she is dancing with the angels, it made me think of a song that really hit home and made me feel better when I lost one of my best friends... I couldn't find the official music video but at least you can hear the song... It's called Dancing With The Angels... And it's by Monk and Neagle... http://youtu.be/-CykBXjWAts You and your family will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. With our deepest sympathy, Matt & Erika Collins (Winebar)

I confess, I have written and rewritten this almost a dozen times. Sometimes word's just aren't enough. Our prayers will continue for you all as you walk through the next chapter of this journey. We have barely lived in Archbold a month. Yet, the life of this beautiful young girl, the Lambert family and the community have affected my spirit in a very long term sort of way. Rest easy in the loving and strong and capable hands of our Heavenly Father...He holds you all.
I have no words to take away your heartache. But to know she is in heaven.....no words can explain that either. I am deeply sorry for you loss of Maddy.

The Lord placed this verse on my heart when Maddy relapsed in November and it has given me hope and my prayer is that it will for you as well. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9. What a blessing to know that Maddy is dancing and singing around the throne of God. Kelsi Grime
Such deep sorrow for your family. I can't imagine how you feel. Such a precious little girl, taken home way to early. Only God can give you comfort at this time and I pray that you feel His loving arms around you.
Oh no!!!! What is there to say? I am just devastated for you all. Maddy, you put up the hugest fight. I don't know what I believe in, but I really hope that Maddy is in a wonderful place. Russ and Dorothy, I am just heart-broken that you have lost your beautiful girl. Many hugs and much love from me and Pete.
My deepest sympathy. My heart weeps for you and your families for I lost a Son 11 years ago so I know the pain you must be feeling. She is one of Gods angles now and will never feel pain again. Brian C.
Maggie will always remember Maddy fondly ... her favorite memories include seeing the Hannah Montana movie together, how willing Maddy always was to help Maggie when she was struggling with her morning school work, and that fact that "Maddy was always kind ... to EVERYONE." ♥
Our entire family weeps with you and will continue to cover you in prayer for the upcoming days, months, and years ahead.

Memories surround me
But sadness has found me
I'd do anything for more time
Never before has someone meant more
And I can't get you out of my mind
There is so much that I don't understand
But I know
You're dancing with the angels
Walking in new life
You're dancing with the angels
Heaven fills your eyes
Now that you're dancing with the angels
You had love for your family
Love for all people
Love for the Father and Son
Your heart will be heard
In your unspoken words
Through generations to come
There is so much that I don't understand
But I know
You're dancing with the angels
Walking in new life
You're dancing with the angels
Heaven fills your eyes
Now that you're dancing
We're only here for such a short time
I'm gonna stand up, shout out
Sing Hallelujah
One day I'll see you again
I will be dancing with the angels
Walking in new life
I'm dancing with the angels
Heaven will fill our eyes
When we're dancing with the angels
When we're dancing with the angels
Dancing with the angels

ReplyDeleteMy deepest sympathy. My heart weeps for you and your families for I lost a Son 11 years ago so I know the pain you must be feeling. She is one of Gods angles now and will never feel pain again. Brian C.
ReplyDeleteMaggie will always remember Maddy fondly ... her favorite memories include seeing the Hannah Montana movie together, how willing Maddy always was to help Maggie when she was struggling with her morning school work, and that fact that "Maddy was always kind ... to EVERYONE." ♥
ReplyDeleteOur entire family weeps with you and will continue to cover you in prayer for the upcoming days, months, and years ahead.
Love,
The Henry Family:
Scott, Lori, Lacie, and Maggie
I will pray for you
