Still Fighting

Maddy was taken off the ventilator this afternoon.  It was a blessing to see her without tubes and wires coming out all over.   She continues to fight...  I guess she isn't ready yet to let cancer win!

  34. We have been in constant prayer for your family especially Maddy. It is evident that she is a strong and mighty young lady of God. When we are weak he is strong. Praying you would have peace that passes human understanding. Praying that your strength will be renewed resting in his presence. We will continue to stand on Gods promises on behalf of your family. I encourage you to search a bible with a concordance look for scriptures on healing and promise, speak them aloud. He is able to make that which seems impossible, possible.
Many Blessings Joe & Laurie Froelich

  71. Maddy, I hope the nurse told your mom to give you a kiss on the forehead from Erika. She was happy she got discharged today but very sad and upset because you were still there. It sounds like everyone on that floor loves you and are praying very hard for you.

Dorothy, I very much appreciate the time you took away from Maddy to come and check on Erika as well. Very kind of you especially under the circumstances. I wanted to come and see you but hadn't made it down the hall yet. Erika was very happy to see you and just know that she is sending big prayers to all of you. She named the bear the FCHC gave her in the ER after Maddy. That bear has brought her much comfort.

Keeping you in our hearts and prayers! Hugs too!!!

  79. As I sat in church this morning my heart and mind was constantly drifting to thoughts of Maddy. I thought back to almost 3 years ago at our first meeting. We were so very new to all the "clinic life" and there was Maddy doing crafts and helping Marci decorate the infusing room. She must of had 15 bracelets on her wrist just like Pam. There was such an instant connection for our family with the Lamberts and for that we will be forever grateful. I have said this before , you ALL inspire us !!! I continue to pray for a miracle to get Maddy over this hurdle so she can beat this because I know in my heart she has great things yet to do.

  83. I have Maddy on my mind at every turn. She is a real fighter. Julia, your picture with your sister for Christmas was just awesome. When you girls were little, I used to show everyone your Christmas pictures and say how beautiful my friends' girls were. Secretly, I was jealous of your mom and dad because I had two boys. Don't get me wrong, I am thrilled to have those two grown guys, I always was. But, there is something about girls. I am so honored to be your mom and dad's friend and to have shared in your growing up if only through pictures. I love you, your dad, your mom, and your little sister. You are always on my mind.
