The Journey

Maddy's journey that began three years ago has had many bumps along the way, but as we look back, we are amazed by all of the GOOD that has come out of all of the bad.  We are amazed how our little girl has inspired so many and how she has given us strength even in her darkest moments.  We looked forward to the day when we could celebrate the end of this journey with all of our family and friends who have prayed for us and supported us along the way.  While we are still praying for a miracle that would allow us to celebrate with Maddy here on Earth, we are faced with the real possibility that we may soon be celebrating Maddy's journey to Heaven.  While we keep reminding ourselves that it is in God's hands and that Maddy will be free of all her pain and suffering in Heaven, it doesn't make it any easier...

  17. As another has already commented, my heart is breaking.

I did not know when I became involved with St. Baldrick's 3 years ago, that I would gain such a compassion for children battling this horrible monster! I was not fully aware of just how many families each hour of every day are learning that their sweet babies are going to have to fight for their lives. And yet, with that fight, the children show such courage, strength and determination all the while continuing to smile.

And that's what I see when I thnk of Maddy...her smile. I continue to pray for a miracle for your family, but I am fully aware that the miracle may not take place here on Earth. I pray that Jesus' arms to completely wrap and surround your family, and that if He wants her to come home with Him that the homegoing will be very peaceful for all of you.

    Praying and praying...

  19. As many tears that flow, that is nothing compared to the outpouring of love we all feel for Maddy. I know God has marvelous plans for this precious child! Maddy has already touched more lives than most will accomplish in old age. We all are praying with our breaking hearts for God to heal Maddy. All things are possible with God...

No matter where this journey leads, our heavenly Father has always been embracing Maddy and He will never let her go.

Hugs and prayers to all of you!

Our prayers are with Maddy and your family. It breaks our hearts that your family is going through this, but God has plans that none of us can understand. We are praying that those plans are for a miracle here on earth.

Maddy has touched many lives, she has shown us what true strength is.

Your family is an inspiration to us all. Your family does so much for this community and Maddy's smile can light up any room. We are all praying for a miracle. This whole community loves Maddy and your family and we are here for you in your times of need.

May God bless you and hold your family close

  22. I am crying as well... Maddy IS a miracle herself. She has inspired our community to work together to fight the fight for your family and for all those affected by this horrible disease. Your courage and hers have undoubtly helped to save lives because of the money raise, the donors registered and the heads shaved.
You have been and continue to be in our prayers. We pray that God will hold all of you tightly, and raise you up on eagles wings. Nothing we can do or say can take this burden from you or make the pain less... but hoping you find comfort that you are not alone. Andi Erbskorn

  35. We are never going to give up the hope. We all are still wishing and beliving for a miricle praying every day and night. We pray for all those. the use of medicines or drugs to treat disease, that the Lord will work
out His perfect will in your situation and bring about healing. We ask that The Great Physician will heal all those that have
undergone surgery and radiation therapy and that the fire of God will destroy all the cancer cells. We speak peace to all the
patients and ask the healing virtue of Our Lord God will flow through every vein, tissue, cell, ligament and that healing will manifest.
We believe that Gods desire is manifest in your life. His desire is written in 3 John 2 “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good
health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along”. We speak peace to all the families having cancer
patients. We speak uncommon provisions to cater for all the expenses needed to take care of the patients. We destroy every
generational curses and declare that they will not continue but the blessings of God will overshadow each and every one of you.
We are in agreement with Gods word in Jeremiah 30:17 “ But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds declares the LORD.”
So be it, in Jesus Name. Amen Loe the Hoot Family

The lives of other's usually touch only the lives of those within their own area of influence, but this little girl's life and fight impacted an entire community! She has touched our family! We are deeply sorry and we will be praying for you as you grieve this tremendous loss! I recently learned a chorus from a song titled, "Finally Home" . I hope it brings you a moment of comfort.
"Just think of stepping on shore, and find it heaven
Of touching a hand, and finding it God's
Of breathing new air, and finding it celestial
Of waking up in Glory, and finding it "Home".

    With love and deepest sympathy!
