Day #26

Finally, Maddy's white blood cell count got up to 500 today with a neutrophil count of 320 (if you looked out your window this morning, you might have seen the "white fairies" falling from the sky- they all landed in Maddy's room). : ) If we can get a couple of days at this rate and get the C. Diff under control, we should be able to get Maddy home soon. Hopefully, the U-Haul will be available when it is time to pack up Maddy's room!

Thanks again for the continued thoughts and prayers!

  1. That is wonderful news!! I was wondering what I saw falling from the sky this morning...I was certain it couldn't be snow in APRIL! Hug those "white fairies" tight and keep them close. Continued prayers for all of you to be together at home soon!!

  2. I love to read about your counts going higher and higher- it makes me smile from the inside out. I can't say that either the kindergarten children or myself were very excited to see those "white fairies" falling this morning when we checked the weather BUT if it means more of them will land in your room- we're all for it. Continue to be a warrior and rest up- we'll see you home soon!

  3. Yea Maddy, You keep grabbing onto those white fairies! Maddy week was sooo fun and I was glad I could be a part of it. I wore my Maddy shirt to work and I had so many people ask me what it stood for. They loved the color! Emily is in bed but I will tell her that your white fairies are growing! We pray for you to come home every night! Soon very soon Maddy! Praying for you,
